Surprise Judges Award at the Amarillo Addy’s this year and I was speechless (for twice).

Let’s be honest here; who doesn’t love an award? After months of hard work, a few headaches, lost sleep, and (finally) happy clients, we carry out a few finger smudged pieces of hardware that will gather dust in our lobby until we run out of room. The spoils of our toils, a nod to the countless hours, another campaign on the books. I’ll try not to mention that the 2017 Judges Award looks suspiciously like a toilet seat. Crossing my fingers that’s an honest mistake.

I’m going to let you in on what happens behind the scenes at Nobox: that wall of Addy tally marks represent our clients — locally owned businesses, nonprofits, and really great people, who CHOSE US.  Behind each award is a CEO, entrepreneur, or dedicated manager who works long hours, and lies awake at night solving God knows what (but you can be sure it has something to do with their company), and who has trusted us with growing their business.

Getting results.

It’s one thing to win awards for a pretty ad. But when those ads work, the earth shakes, the phones ring, and magic happens. That’s what gets me up every morning. And that’s what keeps me awake at night. The thrilling, hair yanking, adrenaline rush challenge of knowing that we don’t get paid in monopoly money. This is your livelihood.

Our logos work for a living.

We aren’t just creating beautiful things. We’re creating brand awareness, helping people get elected, writing and rewriting copy so a nonprofit’s donor campaign will yield results, high-fiving when a new volunteer comes in through Facebook, building email workflows, generating leads, and blogging like our lives depended on it. Because it does. When you succeed, we succeed. When you celebrate, we celebrate. You can trust us to get it done.

Thank you to every single client for giving us your goals and expecting results. You are the reason we love what we do. Here’s to  another year of successful campaigns. Maybe we’ll get an award or two, but we have more important things to focus on.

Come grow with us.
